No New Cases Of Coronavirus Reported In the City Of Kawartha Lakes Today

KAWARTHA LAKES-The Haliburton Kawartha Pine Ridge District Health Unit is reporting zero new cases of Coronavirus in Kawartha Lakes today.

After days of increasing case counts, hospitalizations and deaths, today there was no new cases, deaths or hospitalizations. There is currently 38 active cases of the virus in Kawartha Lakes and the health unit is tracking 52 high risk contacts. 7 people are in Ross Memorial Hospital with Coronavirus and one is on a ventilator.

To Date there’s been 320 cases of the virus in Kawartha Lakes and 36 deaths.

Officials are reminding residents to wear a mask, practice social distancing and stay home if possible.
