61 Year Old Fenelon Falls Man Charged With Refusing Breathalyzer

KAWARTHA LAKES-A traffic complaint received by the Kawartha Lakes OPP led to alcohol related charges.

Police say on November 27, 2020 an OPP officer responded to a traffic complaint related to a potentially impaired driver. The officer located the vehicle in a parking area near Colborne Street in Fenelon Falls and initiated an investigation.

As a result, Jeremy Thorsen, 61 years of age, of Fenelon Falls, was arrested and charged with Failure or refusal to comply with demand and having liquor in open container in other than licenced premises, residence or private place, contrary to the Liquor Licence Act

 

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Lindsay on February 4, 2021.
