Snowfall Warning Issued For Lindsay, Southern Kawartha Lakes

KAWARTHA LAKES-In a day full of weather updates Environment Canada has now issued a Snowfall Warning for Lindsay and Southern Kawartha Lakes.

Storm total snowfall amounts of 15 to 25 cm today through tonight.

Hazards:
15-25 cm of snow
Quickly accumulating snow rates at times

Impacts:
Slippery road conditions
Low visibility at times

Timing:
Now through late this evening

A Special Weather Statement is in effect forĀ Fenelon Falls, Balsam Lake Park and Northern Kawartha Lakes

Significant snowfall today into tonight.

Snow is forecast to begin this afternoon. 5 to 10 cm of accumulation is expected before the snow tapers off Monday morning.

Travel is expected to be impacted. Motorists should be prepared for winter weather driving conditions.
