KAWARTHA LAKES-The driver was injured when a gravel truck rolled into the ditch on Porter Road this morning.
Police say just after 7:00 a.m. officers from the City of Kawartha Lakes OPP responded to a single vehicle collision on Porter Road that has necessitated the closure of that road between Lifford Road and Highway 7A.
On arrival at the scene, officers observed that a gravel truck had rolled over and come to rest in the ditch. The driver was extricated from the vehicle by Fire services and then transported to a local area hospital with minor injuries.
The road remains closed at this time and the investigation is on-going.
