KAWARTHA LAKES-Thousands of people across the City of Kawartha Lakes are without power after rain drenched the area.
According to Hydro One more than 3,600 homes are without power in the Kirkfield, Cameron, Rosedale and Lindsay areas. The cause is pending classification and the the expected restoration time is 5:30pm.
Environment Canada had issued a rainfall warning for the area which has since been cancelled.
