Residents say a “bullet” or pellet smashed through window of home in Lindsay almost hitting resident

KAWARTHA LAKES-Residents of Devan Court in Lindsay are rallying to support a neighbour who was nearly hit by a “bullet” or a pellet of some sort on Sunday.

Witnesses say a “bullet” entered the unit just after midnight narrowly missing a man inside. He was not injured but is reportedly shaken up. You can see the hole in the window.

Police were canvassing the area on Sunday and residents say they were told there was a “shooting”.

Police have not yet released any details on the incident. We emailed them early this morning and were told there would be a press release this afternoon.

Meanwhile the neighbours posted hearts on the outside of the window, covering the hole,  to “show love and support” for the resident after the scary incident.
