Three firefighters injured after house explosion north of Port Perry (VIDEO)

KAWARTHA LAKES-Three firefighters from Scugog were injured after a house explosed north of Port Perry. Their injuries are believed to be minor.

Fire crews were called to the home on Fralick’s Beach Road this morning at approximately 10am. The homeowners were not inside the home at the time. The home was on fire before the explosion occurred and is a complete loss.

Crews from the City of Kawartha Lakes, Uxbridge and Clarington were called in to help extinguish the blaze. This video shows the force of the explosion. There’s no official word on the cause.
