Vehicle in the ditch leads to impaired driving charge

KAWARTHA LAKES-A Peterborough woman is facing charges after a vehicle was found in the ditch on Fife’s Bay Road.

Members of the Peterborough County OPP were called to the collision on February 29th at approximately 10:30pm.

Police say the uninjured driver was found to be under the influence of alcohol.

32 year old Katherine Mcneil of Peterborough, Ontario was arrested and charged with:

  • Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs
  • Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration – 80 plus

Meanwhile police stopped a vehicle on Lindsay Road at approximately 2:30am on March 1, 2020. The driver was found to be under the influence of alcohol according to police.

21 year old Mikaela Wilson of Peterborough was arrested and charged with Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration – 80 plus.
