Lindsay man charged after allegedly punching his friend in the face several times

KAWARTHA LAKES-A Lindsay man is facing charges after allegedly punching his friend in the face several times.

Police say on Saturday February 29th the Kawartha Lakes Police Service responded to the report of an assault that had taken place at an address on Albert Street South in Lindsay.

The investigating officers spoke with a victim who had allegedly suffered a head injury after being punched several times in the face by a male acquaintance. The male suspect was located a short distance from the home and was arrested.

He has been charged with assault cause bodily harm and will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice on April 2, 2020. In order to protect the identity of the victim, the name of the accused is not being released.
