Single vehicle crash near Norland leads to impaired driving charge

KAWARTHA LAKES-A Toronto man is facing charges after a single vehicle crash near Norland.

Officers from the City of Kawartha Lakes OPP responded to a single vehicle crash on Monck Road west of Norland Wednesday night at approximately 7:45 pm

Following an investigation the driver, Johncarlo Boffo, 52 years of age of Toronto, was arrested and charged with Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration (80 plus) contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Lindsay on March 26, 2020.
