Three woman charged with possession of heroin and methamphetamine in Lindsay

KAWARTHA LAKES-Three women are facing charges after an astute employee allegedly saw one of them leaving a store with property concealed under her clothing.

The call came in to police on January 17th. Officers located the woman a short time later in a vehicle with two other women according to police. The investigating officer determined that all three women were in possession of stolen property and placed them under arrest.

47-year-old Simone Davies of Mount Albert has been charged with theft under $5000, possession of property obtained by crime under $5000 and two counts of possession of a controlled substance.

57-year-old Joanne Scott of Mount Albert has been charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance.

31-year-old Kelsey Schmidt of Oshawa has been charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance.
