KAWARTHA LAKES-Four people were sent to hospital after a two vehicle collision on Highway 36 on Sunday.
Police say on January 19, 2020 at 6:00PM the Kawartha Lakes Police Service was called to Highway 36 south of Parkside Drive, along with Kawartha Lakes Fire Rescue Service and Kawartha Lakes Paramedic Service for a two-vehicle collision.
Investigation revealed that a southbound vehicle crossed the center line and collided with a northbound vehicle according to police. The two occupants of the southbound vehicle were taken to Ross Memorial Hospital, and then transported to a Toronto area hospital with serious injuries.
The two occupants of the northbound vehicle were both taken to Ross Memorial Hospital for treatment of their injuries.
