KAWARTHA LAKES-The video last less than two minutes but it packs a powerful punch, quite literally.
The disturbing video appears to be shot somewhere along the river in Lindsay. A number of young people are crowded around while at least three fights are ongoing.
One young girl appears to be really taking a beating with numerous punches to the head. Another boy appears to almost fall into the icy waters.
You can hear some kids egging others on.
One yells “You’re not going to chicken the f— out”.
While another appears to be calling on bystanders to get involved. “Which one of you f—— guys wants some, too?”
Here’s the video but a word of caution, it is disturbing.
Kawartha 411 first broke the news of an alleged forced “fight club” among students at Central Senior elementary school in Lindsay last fall. One parent told Kawartha 411 some kids were being bullied and forced into fist fights for the enjoyment of others watching.

Kawartha 411 did not show the first videos last fall. However we feel strongly people need to see the severity of what is going on as this continues so we have included this new video.
At the time similar videos were brought to the attention of police and school officials. It’s unclear what exactly was done about it at the time as school officials and police wouldn’t comment citing privacy issues.
“The City of Kawartha Lakes Police Service is aware that recent incidents of bullying have been filmed and posted on social media sites by young people who attend our local schools in Lindsay. Unfortunately, examples of people of all ages acting inappropriately or even breaking the law, and posting their actions on social media have been growing ever more common as more and more people carry devices with the capability to record video, such as cellular telephones.” Detective Sgt. Dave Murtha said last fall. “While the City of Kawartha Lakes Police cannot discuss current incidents, which are under investigation by our police service, we can share more information about how the police service responds to bullying taking place at schools in the community.”
The parent who initially blew the whistle on the club says he’s very concerned with the lack of response by officials.
“Yes it’s so awful. Don’t worry, I’ll be the target again for being the whistle blower. But people need to see.” Jon Perrin said. “We will see how long it takes for this video to be taken down because people scared of the truth about what their kids are doing.”
