Lindsay man facing impaired driving charges

KAWARTHA LAKES-A Lindsay man is facing impaired driving charges after a vehicle stop on Queen Street.

Police say on December 9, 2019 a City of Kawartha Lakes Police Service constable was on patrol in the area of Queen Street in Lindsay. At 11:12PM the officer stopped a vehicle in order to investigate a Highway Traffic Act infraction. The officer determined the driver operating the vehicle was allegedly impaired and arrested him.

35-year-old Daniel James Shedden has been charged with impaired operation – alcohol and drugs and impaired operation – blood alcohol operation above 0.08.

The accused will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice, located at 440 Kent Street West in Lindsay on January 16, 2020.
