Police find man passed out in the drivers seat of his vehicle in Lindsay

KAWARTHA LAKES-Kawartha Lakes Police say they found a man passed out in the drivers seat of his vehicle in Lindsay, yesterday.

Police say on November 6 at 3:30PM a man was found passed out at the wheel of a vehicle parked in a parking lot on Colborne Street west in Lindsay. A City of Kawartha Lakes Police Service officer was able to wake the man and determined that he was allegedly impaired.

73 year old Alan Henry Shinton of Lindsay was arrested and has been charged with operation of a motor vehicle while impaired and operation of a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol concentration over .08.
