Man found unconscious after group fight in Lindsay

KAWARTHA LAKES-City of Kawartha Lakes Police say they found a man unconscious after a group fight in Lindsay.

At 2:20am on Saturday October 19, 2019, the City of Kawartha Lakes Police Service was notified of a disturbance taking place between a group of people on James Street in Lindsay.

Police say when officers arrived, the disturbance had ended and the group dispersed. Officers found one man unconscious, lying on the east side of James Street. The man was taken to hospital by paramedics for a serious but non-life-threatening injury.

The City of Kawartha Lakes Police Service is actively investigating this assault and is asking that anyone with information contact police at 705-324-5252, or if you wish to provide your information anonymously please Crime Stoppers at 1.800.222.TIPS (8477) or at www.khcs.ca.
