Police make three more arrests in Lindsay shooting

KAWARTHA LAKES-Kawartha Lakes Police Service have charged three more people in connection to a shooting in Lindsay.

On September 25th the City of Kawartha Lakes Police responded to a disturbance at a home on William Street north in Lindsay.  Officers located a man who had suffered a gun-shot wound.  The victim was taken to a local hospital for medical treatment.

A resident of Whitby was arrested and charged with numerous weapons offences on September 27th.

Further investigation by the City of Kawartha Lakes Police Service Criminal Investigation Branch has led to the arrest of three other men in connection with this incident.

On September 30, 2019 29-year-old Sean Michael Fisher has been charged with disguise with intent to commit a criminal offense, break and enter, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and failing to comply with the conditions of his probation order.

26-year-old Jake Dakota Breen has been charged with disguise with intent to commit a criminal offense, break and enter, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and failing to comply with the conditions of his probation order.

52-year-old Clifford Leonard Bryant has been charged with disguise with intent to commit a criminal offense, break and enter and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.

The three additional men arrested were held in custody to attend bail hearings a the Ontario Court of Justice, located at 440 Kent Street west in Lindsay.
