Alleged impaired driver charged after falling off of motorcycle

KAWARTHA LAKES-Kawartha Lakes OPP have charged a 34 year old man after reports he fell off his motorycle, jumped back on and continued driving in an erratic manner.

Police say they received a call about a possible impaired driver on Tuesday. Officers were able to locate the vehicle and the subsequent investigation resulted in the driver, Kyle Baker, 34 years of age, of Cavan- Monaghan Township, being charged with the following offences:

  • Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs, contrary to the Criminal Code
  • Failure or refusal to comply with demand, contrary to the Criminal Code
  • Two counts of operation while prohibited, contrary to the Criminal Code

 

He will appear in court in November.
