Charges laid in case of male exposing himself to women in Lindsay

KAWARTHA LAKES-Kawartha Lakes Police Service has arrested and charged a young man in connection with three indecent acts in Lindsay.

On August 3, 2019 the City of Kawartha Lakes Police Service received the report of a suspect committing an indecent act.  Two further incidents were reported to have occurred on August 13th and again on August 15th 2019.  Police say in each incident, the suspect approached a woman who was walking alone and exposed their genitals to her.

On August 27, 2019 the City of Kawartha Lakes Police Service arrested a young person in connection with the three incidents.  The young person was charged with three counts of committing an indecent act.

The young person was held in custody to attend a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice, located at 440 Kent Street west in Lindsay.  In accordance with the Youth Criminal Justice Act the name of the young person charged cannot be released.
