Kirkfield senior wins $50,000

KAWARTHA LAKES-A Kirkfield retiree won $50,000, the top prize with Instant Bingo.

“I play a number of lottery games,” shared Shirley, while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up her winnings.

Shirley, a retired mom of two and grandmother of three, checked her INSTANT ticket using the OLG Lottery App. “I didn’t believe it so I scanned it a few times,” she laughed. “I was surprised!”

The 77-year-old widow plans on purchasing a new television, investing in a Posturepedic bed and sharing her windfall with her family.

“This win feels great,” Shirley concluded.

The winning ticket was purchased at Naturipe Food Market on Portage Road in Bolsover.
