Riding lawn mower stolen from local business

KAWARTHA LAKES-The OPP is currently investigating the theft of a riding lawn mower from a local business.

Police say on July 14, 2019 an OPP officer was called to a business on Heights Road in response to a theft that had occurred sometime overnight. Investigation revealed that a section of gate had been cut in order to facilitate the removal of the mower according to police.

Anyone having information on this crime or any others is asked to contact the City of Kawartha Lakes OPP at 1-888-310-1122. Information can also be reported anonymously by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or by going to www.khcs.ca and submitting an anonymous tip online.
