Officer on foot patrol in Lindsay lays impaired driving charge

KAWARTHA LAKES-An officer on foot patrol in downtown Lindsay early Saturday morning charged a man with impaired driving.

Police say on March 30, 2019 at 2:30am a City of Kawartha Lakes Police Service constable began investigating the driver of a vehicle in a parking lot on Kent Street west. The officer believed the motorist was impaired by alcohol and arrested him.

Charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and operation of a motor vehicle with more than the legal blood / alcohol limit is 25-year-old Spencer David McCann of Lindsay.

The accused will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice, located at 440 Kent Street west in Lindsay on May 9, 2019.
