Fire Marshall called in to investigate fire on Fenel Road

KAWARTHA LAKES-A tenant of a farm on Fenel Road in Woodville is in hospital in Oshawa in serious condition after a fire on Saturday night. A dog was killed in the blaze.

District Fire Chief, Dave Kish says crews were called at approximately 11:30pm on Saturday. The fire was contained to the driving sheds to the rear of the barn and spread to a camper trailer. A tenant, living at the property was seriously injured and transported to Oshawa General Hospital.

The Fire Marshall was called in to investigate the cause. Damage is estimated to be approximatley $100,000.
