51 secondary school teaching positions could be lost locally if class sizes increase

KAWARTHA LAKES-The Ontario Secondary School Teachers Federation has concerns about the recent government proposal to increase class sizes in Ontario schools. OSSTF representative, Colin Matthew says at least 51 secondary school teaching positions could be lost within the Trillium Lakelands district School Board and class sizes could balloon out of control if officials go ahead with the increase.
