VCCS announces new Executive Director

KAWARTHA LAKES-The Board of Directors for VCCS Employment Services has announced Brenda Roxburgh as the new Executive Director of the not for profit organization. VCCS Employment Services recently celebrated 30 years of providing employment services in the City of Kawartha Lakes.

After 31 years of leading VCCS, Carol Timlin, outgoing Executive Director announced her intentions to retire in spring 2019.

Brenda has been with VCCS since 1997 and has served as the Assistant Executive Director since 2012.

VCCS is the sole service provider for Employment Ontario’s programs and services in the City of Kawartha Lakes.  VCCS provides over $ 1Million dollars each year to over 2000 local employers and job seekers to strengthen the local labour market

“The Board would like to thank Carol for 31 years of leadership. Under her direction VCCS was founded and has become a model not for profit organization bringing together employers and job seekers. We are excited have Brenda lead the next chapter in the legacy of VCCS.” stated a press release from the organization.
