Man allegedly threatens to kill roommates in Lindsay

KAWARTHA LAKES-Kawartha Lakes Police have laid charges after a threatening note was left for tenants at a rental property in Lindsay.

Police say on Wednesday February 13th, 2019 the tenants of a rental property in Lindsay located a threatening note inside their home. Another tenant of the property had allegedly written the note, in which he threatened to kill his roommates.

The author of the note was located later in the day and was arrested according to police.

The man was charged with one count of uttering a threat to cause death. He was held in custody to attend a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice at 440 Kent Street west in Lindsay. The name of the accused is not being released in order to protect the identity of the victims.
