Lindsay woman charged with selling stolen power tools

KAWARTHA LAKES-A Lindsay woman is facing charges after allegedly selling stolen power tools.

The City of Kawartha Lakes Police Service received the report of a theft of power tools from a Kent Street west business on February 7, 2019.  Police say on February 8, 2019 the investigating officer learned that a woman had sold the power tools to another Lindsay area business.

On February 9, 2019 the woman police believe responsible for selling the stolen tools was located and arrested.  Charged with possession of property obtained by crime under $5000 is a 28-year-old woman from Lindsay.
