Lindsay man charged with impaired driving after being stopped by police

KAWARTHA LAKES-A Lindsay man is facing impaired driving charges after being stopped by police.

On Thursday January 24, 2019 at 10:08pm a City of Kawartha Lakes Police Service constable stopped a vehicle travelling east on Kent Street in Lindsay. The officer determined that the driver of the vehicle allegedly had more than the legal limit of alcohol in his blood and placed the driver under arrest.

Charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and failing or refusing to comply with a demand to provide a sample of his breath is 51-year-old Andrew Edwards of Lindsay.
