KAWARTHA LAKES-City of Kawartha Lakes say an alleged impaired driver was arrested after travelling the wrong way on a one-way street
On January 20th at 1:39am a member of the City of Kawartha Lakes Police Service was on patrol in the area of Kent Street west when he observed a vehicle travelling the wrong direction on York Street south according to police.
police say the officer stopped the vehicle and determined that the driver impaired by alcohol. Charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and operating a motor vehicle with a blood, alcohol concentration above 0.08 is 30-year-old Aaron Christopher Vague of Goodwood Ontario.
