Police looking for suspects after alleged home invasion in Lindsay

KAWARTHA LAKES-Kawartha Lakes Police are on the hunt for two suspects after an alleged home invasion in Lindsay on New Years Day.

At approximately 9:10pm officers received a call regarding a home invasion at a Peel St address in Lindsay. Police were told that 2 males, one with a baseball bat, had forced entry into the residence damaging the exterior door.

The males were described as:
1st male – tall, thin, dressed all in black wearing a grey bandana and holding a baseball bat
2nd male – short, wearing a red bandana

A quantity of cash was stolen after a brief struggle; no medical attention was required.
The males fled the area on foot and are believed to have entered a waiting vehicle.
