KAWARTHA LAKES-The Peterborough Police Service is reminding residents to lock-it-or-lose-it this holiday season.

“While we urge residents to lock and secure their vehicle year-round we remind vehicle owners/passengers to be especially vigilant during the holiday season when many people are doing more shopping than usual.” says Peterborough Police Media Relations and Communications Coordinator, Lauren Gilchrist.

Police say you should always double-triple check to ensure all vehicle doors and windows are locked and secured and any valuables are hidden out of plain sight or taken with you from the vehicle.
