Allegedly impaired driver arrested after leaving liquor store

KAWARTHA LAKES- Kawartha Lakes Police say an impaired driver was arrested after leaving the Liquor Store in Lindsay.

On November 10th at 5:47pm the City of Kawartha Lakes Police Service received a phone call from a concerned citizen who was following a vehicle they suspected was being operated by an impaired driver. Police located and stopped the vehicle.

The investigating officer arrested the driver and further investigation was conducted.

Charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and operating a motor vehicle with more than 80 milligrams of alcohol in her blood 60-year-old Nancy Bowyer of Markham.
