Kawartha Lakes Fall Colours Report

KAWARTHA LAKES-One of the best things about fall is the changing colours of our landscape. We will be publishing a fall colours report for the next few weeks to keep you updated on the progress of the changing colours according to Ontario Canada.

Percentage of Colour Change: 20 – 30%
Predominant Colours: colours are bright

Travel expert Kevin Forget suggests you pack a lunch and take in the sites at Burleigh Falls, or try the Ranney Gorge Suspension Bridge at Ferris Provincial Park. We also suggest Furnace Falls near Kinmount.

Or cycle one of the many cycling trails in The Kawarthas.

A nice driving route: take Hwy 35 north to Rd 45 (Monck Road). You can turn left and go across to Rd 41, then turn left and head south to Hwy 48. Turn left on Hwy 48 and go across to Hwy 35. Another nice driving route: travel across Hwy 7 west of Lindsay, turn right onto Rd 46, right on Rd 8 (Glenarm Road) and go across to Hwy 35.
