Off duty OPP officer helps nab alleged dangerous driver

KAWARTHA LAKES-On June 16, 2018, an off duty OPP officer reported observing a vehicle allegedly being operated in a dangerous manner on Highway 35, within the City of Kawartha Lakes.

Officers from the City of Kawartha Lakes detachment of the OPP responded to the complaint and the vehicle was stopped in the Cameron area.

The ensuing investigation resulted in the driver, James Lemoal, 54 years of age, of Fenelon Township, being arrested and charged with Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle, contrary to the Criminal Code.
