Thefts from unlocked vehicles concerns police

KAWARTHA LAKES-The City of Kawartha Lakes Police Service says officers continue to receive reports of thefts from unlocked vehicles in the Lindsay area.

Theft from vehicles is a preventable crime and the simplest way to protect your property is to lock your doors according to police.

There are other tips to consider as well, such as parking your vehicle indoors or in a well-lit area and keeping valuables such as loose change or wallet out of plain view.

However, simply locking your doors and keeping your windows rolled up will protect your property from theft police say.  Lock it or lose it!
