Lindsay man charged with causing a disturbance

KAWARTHA LAKES-A 50 year old Lindsay man is facing charges after an alleged drunken disturbance.

On Thursday May 18, 2018 at 9:00pm the City of Kawartha Lakes Police were called to a street in the north ward of Lindsay in response to reports of an intoxicated male screaming and shouting. 

When officers arrived in the area they were informed a man had allegedly been shouting at local residents and attempting to start a fight.  The man was located a short time later, and despite the presence of police the man continued to shout and disturb local residents according to police.  

The man was arrested and charged with causing a disturbance.  50-year-old Dean Gonsalves of Lindsay is facing charges.
