Erratic driving leads to alcohol related charges

PETERBOROUGH-A Peterborough man has a date with a judge after being pulled over for erratic driving.

The Peterborough County OPP stopped a vehicle on Woodland Drive last night shortly before 11:30pm. Police say the male drive was found to have been drinking.

A Peterborough man was arrested and charged with driving with more than 80mg of alcohol in 100ml of blood.

The Peterborough County OPP is reminding motorists to plan ahead when consuming alcohol use a designated driver, utilized a cab or public transit or stay overnight. They say any amount of alcohol or drugs can impact your ability to make sound judgements.
