KAWARTHA LAKES- City of Kawartha Lakes OPP say they responded to over 150 calls for service over the weekend including 10 car crashes and 11 domestic disputes.
In addition three people were charged with alcohol related offences.
Emergency services personnel responded to a single vehicle collision on Woodville Road on August 25, 2017 at approximately 2:45am.Â
Police say the lone occupant and vehicle driver sustained non-life threatening injuries. 18 year old Sophia Macey of Fenelon Falls was arrested and charged with Driving While Ability Impaired by Alcohol contrary to section 253(1)(a) of the Criminal Code of Canada (CCC).
At approximately 6 pm the same day officers responded to a traffic complaint on Highway 7. The vehicle was located on Kawartha Lakes Road 46 and following an investigation the driver, 24 year old Julia Eastman of Oakwood was arrested and charged with,Fail to Stop at Scene of Accident, Driving While Ability Impaired by Alcohol or Drug and Fail or Refuse to
On August 27th  at approximately 11pm police responded to a single vehicle collision on Highway 35 near Kawartha Lakes Road 121. 28 year old Daniel Mann of Lindsay was arrested and charged with Driving While Ability Impaired by Alcohol, Driving With More Than 80 mg of Alcohol in 100 ml of Blood.
