KAWARTHA LAKES-The Kawartha North Family Health Team is tackling the issue of poverty in the city.
As a member of of the Kawartha Lakes Poverty Reduction Roundtable they health team announced the hiring of Jessica Knott as Poverty Reduction Coordinator today. Knott is on a eleven month term under an Ontario Trillium Foundation grant.
Kawartha North FHT and the Roundtable said  “We thanking the Ontario Trillium Foundation for creating this opportunity to work with partners and community members to take on the challenge of Poverty Reduction over the coming year.” in a release on Facebook.
