Man charged with pulling knife on woman after allegedly breaking into her home

PETERBOROUGH-A scary holiday Monday for a Peterborough woman.

Police say a 38 year old Peterborough man broke into a multi unit residence on Dublin street confronting a woman with a knife and threatening her.  The victim fled the residence and police were called. According to police the accused and victim know each other.

At approximately 12:30 p.m. that same day officers located the accused walking in the area of Murray and Park Streets.

38 year old  Lee Eric Walker of Crystal Drive, is charged with break and enter,Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm.

The accused was held in custody and is scheduled to appear in court later today (Aug. 8).
