Man accused of pointing a gun during a road rage incident

A scary road rage incident in Uxbridge on Wednesday.

A uniformed officer reports they saw two men travelling in the area of Reach Street and Lake Ridge Road in Uxbridge when they became involved in a road rage incident over the right of way. The 38-year-old victim was operating a motorcycle and the suspect was operating a car. The suspect allegedly pointed what appeared to be a firearm at the victim and words were exchanged.

Police say during the investigation a replica firearm was discovered in the suspect’s vehicle.

36-year-old Lawrence Keenan of no fixed address has been charged with: Weapons Dangerous; Uttering Threats; Using Imitation Firearm in Commission of Offence; Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle and Possession and Possession of a Schedule I Substance (Oxycodone).

He was released on a promise to appear with conditions.
