Lindsay man charged with assault and drug possession after domestic incident

KAWARTHA LAKES-A 49-year-old Lindsay Man has been held in custody after an incident in the North Ward of Lindsay on Thursday.

It is alleged that the man went to the apartment of his ex-girlfriend, uninvited and a physical altercation took place between him and another resident.

Officers arrested the accused and during a search located a substance suspected to be narcotics.

Police say their investigation also revealed that on April 18th, 2017 the accused slapped and choked his ex-girlfriend at a William St. N. residence.

He is charged with Assault, Possession of Drugs, Being Unlawfully in a Dwelling, and Domestic Assault.

  1. wow so sad how many of our children are get hooked on these drugs I am wondering how they are so easily to avail I have a son who is a addict and it is heart wrenching I am so scared he is not gonna wake up one day
