This year’s entertainment for the event is sponsored by Shorelines Casinos and Galaxy Cinemas. Brian Buchanan is the General Manager at Shoreline Slots at Kawartha Downs and he said that he is very excited to be sponsoring the Taste of Downtown for 2017.

“Partnering with the DBIA on this event helps to promote and showcase so many of the great culinary experiences that the downtown has to offer” said Buchanan.
Some of the restaurants participating in the event include, the Taste of Thai, DR J’s BBQ & Brews, The Brickhouse Craft Burger Grill, The Sapphire Room, Kettle Drums, The Whistle Stop Café and many more.

The Executive Director for the DBIA, Terry Guiel said that this event is all about the unique food, shops and live entertainment
