A traffic stop in Lakefield has lead to the seizure of cocaine, heroin and prohibited weapons from inside the vehicle. A 37-year-old Peterborough man is facing charges.
Peterborough Police say on April 10, 2017 at approximately 1:45 p.m. officers conducted a traffic stop after observing a vehicle driving erratically on Clementi Street in the Village of Lakefield.
The male driver was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle while impaired by a drug. Officers allegedly located prohibited knives in the vehicle along with an amount of heroin, cocaine, a quantity of cash and drug paraphernalia after searching the vehicle.
37 year old Timothy Raymond Brady of Clancy Crescent, Peterborough, is charged with the following impaired driving by drug, possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking (heroin),possession of a schedule I substance (cocaine),knowledge of unauthorized possession of weapon X3, possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000 (cash)
