KAWARTHA LAKES-It is music to the ears of local aspiring musicians.
A new program called Music Unlimited is coming to Lindsay this fall.
It’s open to students from Grade 8 to Grade 12 with intermediate and
above music skills. It’s a workshop-based collaborative songwriting and
performance program featuring music and industry professionals as
special guests, with opportunities for students to write, perform and
record original material.
“Music Unlimited gives young artists the opportunity to develop their
skills, collaborate, perform, and build confidence alongside experienced
music and entertainment professionals. Programs like these are vital to
nurturing the next generation of Canadian musicians, especially in
smaller communities.” said Eric Warner, Professor of Creative
Industries at Toronto Metropolitan University and President of We Are
Busy Bodies.
Music Unlimited starts Thursday, October 8 and runs in two semesters
until May 27, 2027, Thursdays from 7:00–8:30 p.m. at St. Andrew’s
Presbyterian Church, 40 William St. N. in Lindsay.
Students can send a basic demo through registration at

Registration opens Tuesday, August 25, 2026. Spots are limited.
