KAWARTHA LAKES – A suspect wanted in connection with a property damage investigation has been arrested by the Kawartha Lakes Police Service.
Police began investigating an incident on July 24, 2026, involving a male suspect who allegedly caused damage to property. During the investigation, officers identified a suspect and determined that he was subject to be bound by criminal conditions, which police claim he had breached.
On August 4, 2026, officers responded to a report of a suspicious person. Upon arrival, police located a male known to them and confirmed that he was wanted on an outstanding warrant related to the earlier investigation according to police.
The suspect was subsequently arrested on the outstanding charges and for the alleged breaches of his conditions. He was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
