KAWARTHA LAKES-The City of Kawartha Lakes is looking for a very special resident: Someone whose life story is woven into the history of our community as part of the 25th Anniversary of becoming Kawartha Lakes.
Officials want to find the oldest person living in Kawartha Lakes who has called this community home their entire life. Is this you?
More than a search for an age record, this is an opportunity to preserve memories, experiences, and stories that make Kawartha Lakes unique. From changes in our neighbourhoods and downtowns to memorable community events, family traditions, and everyday life through the decades, we want to hear a firsthand account from the person who has been here the longest, and has witnessed our history unfold.
