KAWARTHA LAKES-A Place Called Home has received a $3,000 donation from Kawartha Financial Services.
The donation is part of the 2026 Community Involvement Program.
“This support helps launch our Warm Fingers & Toes initiative this October, providing waterproof gloves and –20°C-rated boots to people experiencing homelessness. Together, we’re helping ensure no one in our community faces winter without warmth and dignity.” said officials from A Place Called Home.
A Place Called Home is an emergency homeless shelter in Lindsay supporting men, women and families with children in Kawartha Lakes and the County of Haliburton. Click here for more information: https://www.apch.ca/
