Local Police Asking For Public Input As Part Of New Strategic Plan

KAWARTHA LAKES-The Kawartha Lakes Police Services Board and the Kawartha Lakes Police Service are inviting residents and businesses to share input as part of the development of a new Strategic Plan that will guide policing in the City of Kawartha Lakes over the coming years.

Community members can participate through the online survey and/or by attending an in-person Community Pop-Up event. Both engagement opportunities will help inform priorities, resource planning, and alignment with the updated Community Safety and Policing Act.

  • The online survey is open from January 13, 2026 to February 13, 2026. Responses are collected anonymously.
  • The Community Pop-Up event will take place on January 19, 2026, with drop-in opportunities throughout the day at Fleming College (Frost Campus), Kent Place Mall, and the Lindsay Recreation Complex (10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.).
