Additional information: Lake effect snow squalls off of Georgian Bay and Lake Huron will continue to affect portions of the region today before shifting south tonight or Friday morning. Gusty westerly winds to 60 km/h will also result in areas of blowing snow giving poor visibility. Travel will likely be hazardous. Prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions. Consider postponing non-essential travel and outdoor activities until conditions improve.
